On Site Training Requirements

First Aid Courses

Response First Training Centre asks that the chosen venue for training comply with all necessary health and safety standards.

Appropriate space should be offered for the number of delegates attending (We suggest at least 6 Sq. metre is recommended for a full course). The training room should be large enough to seat everyone comfortably in a semi-circle formation with open floor space in the middle of the room (Desks are not required but 12 will clipboards will need to be supplied). The training room must be clean, uncluttered and easily accessible; the floor space will be used for the practical parts of the course.

Manual Handling Courses

Response First Training Centre asks that the chosen venue for training comply with all necessary health and safety standards.

Appropriate space should be offered for the number of delegates attending (We suggest at least 6 Sq. metreis recommended for a full course). The training room should be large enough to seat everyone comfortably and have the appropriate space available for the practical sessions on the course.

If part of the training is on the use of particular equipment is required, please arrange for this to be made available for the hands-on training sessions. Response First also can assist you in arranging specific manual handling equipment to be available for your training sessions.

Health and Safety Courses

Response First Training Centre asks that the chosen venue for training comply with all necessary health and safety standards.

Appropriate space should be offered for the number of delegates attending The training room should be large enough to seat everyone comfortably and have the appropriate space available for the practical sessions on the course.

Response First Training Centre request that for the course assessment there should be ample space for the delegates to be seated at separate desks or placed at a sensible distance apart to prevent delegates being able to observe each other’s work. Response First Training Centre also requires that all the desks are arranged in a such a way to ensure that all delegates facing the same direction.

Fire Safety Courses

Response First Training Centre asks that the chosen venue for training comply with all necessary health and safety standards.

Appropriate space should be offered for the number of delegates attending (We suggest at least 6 Sq. metreis recommended for a full course). The training room should be large enough to seat everyone comfortably in a semi-circle formation. (Desks are not required but 12 will clipboards will need to be supplied)

Please Note: As part of the training of the Fire Safety course includes the ‘Live’ Fire Extinguisher training module then a (10m x 10m) outdoor space is also required.

Safety Note: The unit should only be operated on firm, level ground in an open area and must be positioned at least 5m away from any premises and any potential fire hazards/riskAn agreement to use this outdoor area must be made in advance of the course commencement. We will require a copy of this for our records
